We had a group of 44 people there today. The food and service was exceptional. We were all served in a timely manner. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend Southpaw.
My husband and I went for dinner the other night, was FANTASTIC!! Logan was at the bar slinging drinks, great guy, awesome tender, very attentive. We will DEFINITELY be back!!!
The bufa que and crispy dry wings were great. They have Yuengling Flight on draft. The Boro sandwich with the smoked pulled pork was awesome. The balsamic slaw was also very good. Excellent and fast service. I'll have to try the pastrami Ruben next time.
Fun place. Lots to do. I got the Ruben and I'm pretty sure it was the best Ruben I've ever ate. The Bloody Mary was bland compared to other places I've had them so I'll just get something different next time. Will definitely go back to try other menu items.
South Paw Restaurant in Murphysboro, IL, features a spacious building with ample parking. The atmosphere is casual, with pool tables and a bar area that adds to the laid-back vibe. The menu offers classic bar food, the wings were a little hotter than we thought but they all got ate! We got several appetizers and they were all really good! Try the screwballs! One unique highlight is the virtual golf that you can play on a TV screen. Overall, it's a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy some good food and entertainment. Plus I am a Southpaw! 🥰 The manager checked on us a few times! We will definitely be back!
We had a large group in the banquet room for lunch today. Everything went very smooth. Food was hot when served 👏. Food presentation was nice too. Karlie was our main server and was absolutely fabulous. Always had a smile. I met Chad one of the owners who helped make everything happen like clockwork. A shout out to Mary and Miley for helping out too. A big thanks to the chef and cook who were behind the scene. Thank you Southpaw Bar & Grill for making our experience great today. By the way, I had the rueben sandwich which I would definitely order again. I highly recommend this place. I will be back. Chad has a great team there! 😃 In addition, I would also like to mention the bathroom was very clean. 👏👏👏
I had this awesome smoked rueben sandwich. Its a great southern twist on the classic irish rueben sandwhich. The brisket they use has smoked flavor and extremely tender. We also had the fried cheese curd cubes. They bar, restaurant seatig area and bathrooms are super clean. This is a great bar and grill and i look forward to coming here again when im visiting family in southern Illinois.
Love this experience very friendly waitress delicious food great prices beautiful atmosphere delicious old fashions drink from the bar would recommend the pulled pork nachos and many other delicious dishes.
The Saturday Smoked prime rib is fabulous. Very tender, nice and medium rare. Mac n cheese was super smooth and creamy.
